The Boys 2010 Orange team is in its 2nd year of play in Division 2 of GCSL and is coached by Brad Zappin (U.S. Soccer licenses “F” and “E”) and Morgain Clegg. The Boys work extremely hard and believe in having fun, playing fearless, getting better and being great teammates. They have grown exponentially as players – and more importantly people – over their last several seasons and have unlimited futures on and off the field. They have given back to the community through volunteer projects, and have been recognized by many referees and opposing coaches as playing with class and grace at all times. Highlights for the team include winning their respective divisions of the Warrior Classic, Cincinnati United Fall Finale and the Beavercreek Haunted Classic. They have also been runner-up is several other tournaments.
Head Coach: Brad Zappin
Brad has coached several Boys and Girls Storm teams dating back to the Club’s inception in 2016. He has a US Soccer “E” license and loves to watch players develop as athletes and, more importantly, individuals. Brad is passionate about putting player’s first and giving the sport back to kids. Off the field, he lives in Loveland with his wife, 4 kids and 2 dogs. He received a BS from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Xavier.
Assistant Coach: Morgain Clegg
Morgain started her coaching career with 2 seasons with the Loveland Soccer Academy, where she was mentored by Anthony Doherty, Director of Player Development. She has spent the last several seasons working with the 2010 Boys. She brings a positive attitude and encouraging style to every practice and game. Off the pitch, she lives in Loveland with her husband and son. She graduated from The Ohio State University where she was a Student-Athlete as a member of the Crew team.
