Paul has been coaching soccer in Loveland for 10 years, and he has coached with Storm for the past 4 years. He currently has a US Soccer Coaching F License as well as Grassroots 7v7 and 9v9 Licenses. He has also coached youth basketball for the past 5 years.

Paul has lived in Loveland since 2004 and is the proud dad of 5 kids, including 2 Storm players.  He played a variety of sports growing up, including in high school, and he is big believer in the value of kids playing multiple sports. Paul strives to teach his players both good technique and good sportsmanship and he works to create a positive and supportive environment with his players.

Jessica Buringrud

Jessica played club soccer here locally in Cincinnati. She played 4 years of NAIA, Div. I, college soccer for Shawnee State University (2000-2003). She was previously the head junior varsity coach at Mother of Mercy High School in Cincinnati, and has coached her children in recreational soccer. She was an assistant coach for G09 White from 2017-2019 and head coach from 2019-2020. She is currently the head coach of G09 Orange and G14 Loveland Academy Team Arsenal.

Chris has coached club and recreational soccer for over 10 years. He began his coaching journey while playing high school soccer for Glen Este. He has founded and coached multiple Loveland Storm FC teams including the G05/06 team in 2015.

Tom Galperin

Tom Galperin

Tom began coaching several years ago when his oldest child really began to show an interest in playing soccer. He started at SAY Soccer for Kings Soccer Club. At Kings, Tom's teams never finished a season below .500 and he led two teams to 1st place finishes and subsequent appearances in the SAY North post-season Tournament, including a 2nd place finish there in 2019. He has since made the move to Storm FC. His B11 White team won the Indy Fusion Fall Classic in 2021 and finished 3rd in CPL's 2nd division. In the Spring of 2021, Tom led Storm's 2011 Boys Black team to a CPL 6th Division Title.

In his youth, Tom played competitive club soccer and won The West Virginia State Championship 5 years in a row, reached the US Soccer Region I Semi-Finals at U16, and also played ODP for many years. Tom’s High School team was a State Semi-finalist his Sophomore Year and Quarter-Finalists his Senior Year. Tom is married to his wonderful wife, Elisabeth, and the two have two children, Eli and Alex.

Jon started coaching for Loveland Storm soccer in 2019 after previously coaching recreational soccer and baseball in the Loveland area over the previous 5 years. Jon played soccer competitively in high school and in college at Case Western Reserve University. Jon has completed the Grassroots coaching license and is planning to begin work on his D license when next offered by the club.

Jon has lived in Loveland since 2007 with his wife and has two sons, both who are a part of the Loveland soccer program. Jon strives to create a positive environment while setting high standards for work ethic, sportsmanship and being a good teammate, which will serve the players well both on and off the field.

Kevin Hommel

Kevin Hommel

Kevin has over 35 years of playing experience. He played competitively on multiple select teams growing up, was a regular at goalkeeper training camps, was selected as an alternate to the U16 Olympic Development Team for the state of Oklahoma, and played varsity soccer in high school. Kevin has been coaching youth soccer since 2014 and currently coaches two Storm teams and one rec team. He also coaches Storm FC goalkeepers.

Kevin Kimnach

Kevin has coached this team since 2016. He currently holds his E and F soccer licenses. He is also 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 certified through the new USF soccer license courses and is working toward his D license. Kevin played 4 years of high school soccer in Ohio, recreationally at Ohio University, and continues to play recreationally now.

Keith Koehne

Keith has been coaching for over 25 years at a variety of levels. During his teaching career at Mariemont High School, Keith was Assistant Varsity coach for 3 years and Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Program for 5 years, compiling the highest winning percentage in school history. During his final season as a high school coach, he was blessed to coach the number 1 team in the state of Ohio.

Keith’s move into educational administration necessitated a focus on coaching youth soccer. Keith has coached numerous recreation teams, helped start the Loveland Soccer Academy, and was one of the founding coaches at Loveland Storm.

Katie Manly

Katie Manly

Katie grew up in the Boston area playing club and on the MA state ODP team. She then went on to play D1 soccer at Miami University, co-captaining the team her last two years.

Katie has been coaching for over 10 years at different age levels. She started her coaching career in college, coaching soccer camps in the summer back East. She also coached youth league teams at Miami University in the off season. While teaching in the Wyoming school system, she coached four seasons at the high school level, helping guide the 2002 girls’ soccer team to the state finals. At the same time she had her first stint coaching at the club level in the Cincinnati Classics club system.

In 2016, after taking a break to raise her four kids to be fairly self-sufficient, she got back into coaching in the Loveland Storm system, training 2005, 2008 and 2010 girls’ teams. In 2019 Katie began coaching the boys 2007 team as the assistant coach, and is now also the head coach for the boys 2009 team.

Katie is a big proponent of free play and pick-up games, and can be found playing soccer with her family most sunny days. She is also a big fan of Storm’s philosophy of having fun, working hard and serving others.

Tim started coaching soccer with the development of his 2 sons who have come to enjoy the game over the past few years. Tim played many different sports growing up and played soccer up to the high school level as a youth.

Lauren Nunn

Lauren has many years of coaching for various clubs and ages in the Cincinnati area. Lauren’s lifelong love of soccer led her to play center mid for the University of Cincinnati. Some of her best highlights are winning a USYS National Championship, being invited to ODP National Team Camp and winning the Nation’s Cup for the US, which took place in London.

Lauren still loves to get out there today and play with some of the other Storm Coaches. Lauren coaches because she hopes to motivate her players to have the courage to step out of their comfort zones and be successful both on and off the field.

Alex grew up playing competitive soccer as a youth with one of the top clubs in Kentucky where his team won a national championship. He was a 4-year starter at Xavier University.

Alex is well known in the Cincinnati soccer community; he has been coaching/training for 15+ years. Recently he has held roles of Youth Director for several local soccer clubs.

Christine Wise

Christine has been coaching with Loveland Soccer since 2015 at the recreational level and this will be her second year with Storm. She also held the Junior Varsity Head coach position at Loveland High School for 2 years. Christine played select soccer for the Loveland Chargers Club as well as the Loveland High School Varsity team before beginning her coaching career. 

She is a Loveland resident, a mom to 4 kids, and is a 1st grade teacher at Loveland Primary School. Christine is passionate about all things Loveland and helping her players become confident young women on and off the field!

Heather Woodyard-Neiger

Heather has been coaching boys and girls, recreational, club, and college soccer since 1997. She has a NSCAA National Coaching License.

Heather was a starting defender for THE Ohio State University. Heather coached the Girls ’07 Orange team from 2017 to 2021. We are very fortunate to have her working with the 2012 girls.
